Who Is Rod Hume ?
Rod Hume is a PGA Professional and Queensland golf coach who has spent more than a decade helping golfers play better, simpler golf.
He learned his craft at Indooroopilly Golf Club, where he completed his PGA training and coached members and visitors of every standard. Golf has always been close to home — Rod grew up around the club, and he still plays the game himself. That mix of playing and teaching is what shapes the way he coaches.
His approach is straightforward. Every golfer is different, so the plan has to be different. Rod uses TrackMan and data analysis to see what the ball is actually doing, then turns that information into a clear process the player can take from the lesson tee onto the course. The goal is not a textbook swing. It is a repeatable way to hit better shots, for the person standing in front of him.
That is why the same coaching works for a first-timer picking up a club, a mid-handicapper trying to break 90, and a better player chasing tournament golf. Lessons can be a single tune-up, a structured package, or a group clinic. Whatever the format, the brief stays the same: simplify the process, and help you reach the golf you actually want to play.
